The most important principle in business: to end the day with more money than you began it.
I’ve heard this principle put a few different ways over the years, and it goes along with the principle of keeping things simple.
Are your systems set up to be profitable from the start? Or have you complicated to a point where it requires a great deal of luck/money/customers/investors/sales in order to be profitable?
What would it look like if it were profitable from the start?
Whatever you’re working on, do a quick assessment. Are you profitable? If not, figure out how you can simplify to become so.
